Shock Till you Drop says:
Shock Till You Drop has exclusively received a series of Cenobite conceptual designs that were created for Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer's Hellraiser remake. These were created by FX vet Gary J. Tunnicliffe of Two Hours in the Dark.
As you can see, they maintained some similarity to the original Pinhead design, but encased it in a rather phallic collar. He was going to be joined by another male Cenobite known as "Skinner" and a female Cenobite. Of course, because the remake lost steam at Dimension this week, these will never come to fruition.

Shock Till You Drop says:
At the time of this writing, Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer are in the middle of scripting Hellraiser for Dimension Films. To use the word "remake" to describe the project seems a bit wrong, as it appears the duo are crafting more of a "reboot."
"We're keeping it within the world of the box. What the box is and what the box does," Lussier told Shock Till You Drop today during a Drive Angry-related interview. Farmer interjected, "Clive's film is very personal. That's a difficult story for us to come in and re-tell."
"To go in and tell the story of Frank and the family wouldn't be right," added Lussier. "What we went in to pitch with at Dimension was to come at it from a different angle, but go into the same world and see things you haven't been able to see in the other movies. There have been so many films, how can we make this one different?"
Hellraiser is great. I grew up[ on 80s horror movies like Nightmare, Friday and Halloween but Hellraiser was actually the one horror movie my father wouldn't let me watch because he said it was far too adult for me. It wasn't until I was much older that I had seen it and I understood why he didn't want me seeing it when I was a kid. Now it's nothing compared to some of the torture porn horror movies that are out now.
