Major movement is finally underway on bringing Daniel H. Wilson's novel Robopocalypse to the big screen. DreamWorks and 20th Century Fox will co-finance Robopocalypse with the former distributing the film domestically and the latter internationally. Steven Spielberg will make this is his next directorial after War Horse and Lincoln. Robopocalypse is scheduled to hit theaters on July 3, 2013 with a script penned by Cloverfield‘s Drew Goddard. Apparently, it's back to man versus machine.
