Primate Perspecive Writes:
The original Fright Night was a terrific low-budget yet very effective horror movie. Released in 1985 it was a modest success spawning a sequel and gaining cult status. Now we have what seems like another inevitable remake that stars Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin. Remakes are generally used as evidence that Hollywood has totally run out of ideas and are just going for a cash grab. The fact that this remake is in 3D reinforces the belief that this film is a cynical attempt to make money out of a popular 80’s film.
