The Battleship Poster Revealed

Coming Soon says

The first official poster for Universal Pictures' upcoming Battleship is now arriving in theaters and ComingSoon.net has your first look at the design.

Based on the Hasbro board game, the Peter Berg stars Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna and Hamish Linklater and is said to unfold as a massive Naval adventure across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against an otherworldly force.

In addition to the poster, the official site has also been updated with a countdown clock, indicating that we're going to have some kind of a reveal coming our way this Wednesday.

Battleship is scheduled for release on May 18, 2012.

I'm assuming the reveal is the trailer?

This could be good, it could also be rather boring. In a way it sounds exciting and war like, but then again boat related movies bore me. like the submarine one. There is only so much you can do.

Yeah I would guess it would be the trailer. On the whole, I'm just not looking forward to it. I just can't get behind the idea. Maybe the trailer will change my mind, but I'm doubting it.

In all probability ya, it';s going to be the trailer. I'll keep an eye out for it but...it's based on a game of guessing. WHat's next? Hungry Hungry Hippos?

darklordzor4650d ago

I might actually be more interested in that than this movie. I mean Hungry Hungry Hippos could be a terrifying film! Like planet of the Apes but with massive Hippos instead.
