I honestly don't know why they decided to put him in the role he had in Thor. When I saw it I thought "badass, they put Punisher in here" then I read up on it and he is an entirely new character....
He is a decent actor I just think he has one style of acting. I've seen him in "dramas" or whatever you want to call his other roles, and he still had that one feeling behind it. So in otherwords its cool he will be in this movie, but I'm not overly excited about the news.
Yeah I get what you mean....he pretty much depicts a certain character and that's about it. I think they could have done a little better with their choice but he might surprise us.
I can definitely understand the claim that he's a rather one-dimensional actor. However, his one dimension might actually be pretty good for this particular role.
