Perhaps Bad Teacher never reaches the hilarious heights of summer rival Bridesmaids but it’s an above average comedy which takes a premise with huge potential and fashions some decent gags from it. Director Jake Kasdan has made a successful transition from spoof heavy material like Walk Hard here, aided by his impressive cast. With Diaz on form and some solid laughs, Bad Teacher is a decent bet for those looking for lazy weekend laughs.
