Sean of The Daily Rotation wrote, "From the mind of new pop icon J.J. Abrams, comes the “it” film of the summer. It might not make the most money, and it might not play as long as others, but it has the most vocal following, as do most of Abrams’ projects. While not being a fan of his television shows, I feel he made by far the best Mission Impossible film, so my curiosity was piqued. While I remained mostly entertained, I don’t think it’s the revolution in pop cinema that most seemingly see it as. My biggest problem with Super 8 is I felt it didn’t know what type of film it wanted to be. So it jumped from plot to plot, glossing over the details in favor of half-hearted, false nostalgia."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Didn't get to see it this last weekend (fighting a stomach bug) but plan on doing so this weekend after I see Green Lantern. I know I'm going to love it.
I haven't seen it yet. I hope to make it to the movies eventually to see it.
