(Nfamous.net) 30 Years Later - Remembering Raiders of the Lost Ark

Marron Marvel: I can't quite recall the first time that I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark. The movie was released to theaters, after all, only weeks after I was born. Funny, when things are such an immensely huge part of your life, you tend to remember them. This, somehow, is different; perhaps I do not remember my first viewing of Raiders, not just because I was young, but because I feel as though Doctor Henry Jones, Jr. has always been a part of my life.

Gosh, I can't believe it's been 30 yrs. since the first one..has it been that long? They are some of the most memorable movie moments I have. I think it's the same for almost all of us when it comes to the first one.

I know, right? It's hard to believe it's been 30 years. This movie is so timeless, though. I just watched it again yesterday, and it's just as good as the first time -- maybe even better now that I'm older and can appreciate it with more than just the whimsy of a child.

I definitely can appreciate it more now than even just a few years ago. The subtly of the cinematography is one feature that I pay more attention to now than I did as just a fanboy years ago. Good piece. Now I want to watch it over again myself.
