I never saw the original. I've heard a little about the book but that's about it. I'm glad Daniel Craig is in it. That's a plus for the movie and it looks very interesting so I want to learn more about it.

I don't understand why they're remaking this, its only a few years old and has already been dubbed into English. They're just replacing all the actors and filming it all over again, despite the fact that noomi rapace has been highly praise for her performance in it. Sure they might change a few things, but imo not nearly enough to justify doing it over. From that trailer alone I was able to point out several scenes it shares with the other film.

Still I do like Daniel Craig, and if they are going to make any changes, they need to overhaul the 2nd and 3rd movies since those are far less impressive than the first.

Funny that, cos I saw a lot of scenes in the trailer that are also in the book.

They just wanna bring the story to a wider audience using actors that are well known all over the world and probably with a better budget. The new movie may even do the book justice.

+1 for Immigrant Song in the trailer.

I may be in the minority here, but that trailer was God awful.

"Immigrant Song" did not blend well - and the frame by frame shots were lackluster.

Not sure what the hype is about - I suspect the film will be good - but this trailer is pitiful.

Daniel Craig, Trent Reznor, Side-Boob and Thrusting, all in one trailer. What more could you ask for?
