Michael Bay and James Cameron Talk 3D and Show Off Transformers 3 Footage

Jo Blo writes: After a night of 3D, my excitement level for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is raised. Ken Jeong looks hilarious and “Bumblebee” is kicking serious ass. Although until its release on July 1, we all have to wait and see if the third time is a charm for Transformers.

That Bumblebee scene sounds 100% like an idea I had while watching TF2 (what else was I supposed to do during the 20 minuet stretches of non-robot human action) =P. I wanna see it now to see if it's similar to how I imagined it.

I saw the previews in 2D and that's how I'll see the movie and it's still cool.

How did the audience react to the previews? Lots of talk/excitement or was it quiet?

alycakes4718d ago

There were some ooooohhh and aaahhh and at one point one lady screamed out. It was funny. I think it was when that hugh building came down...I don't remember. They showed a lot in the previews and it looked really good but doesn't really give away what the plot is.

I wasn't aware we were at all concerned with what the plot is.

I'm really interested in seeing the new transformers(the robots themselves), and seeing how that new actress does in the movie.

In other words you're all about the eye candy ;)

I don't prefer 3-D because the colors always have that washed out look - transformers in particular, with it's disorienting editing and bloated runtime, sounds like a recipe for nausea.

Do not visit the Transformers toy section in stores. They already have some of the new toys out giving away some of the robots. I walked through ToysRus and I saw them. I took a deep breath & screamed in slow motion, "Nooooooooooooooooooo! lol
