I think she was fantastic in Thor. Not that it would be up there on this list, but she truly did something with it. She acts so well that you forget its her, especially in Thor, she just blends in with the film.

Then the credits role and your like "oh it was her!"

If anyone has not seen the professional do yourselves a favor and pick up the international version which is called Leon. Luc Besson had to change the relationship in the film to a father daughter for the US and some content was cut. His original intention was to show a man that was possibly mentally handicapped learn to love, creepy I know, but that was the director's original intention. I personally think it makes the movie a little more creepy, but is better for it. It flows better because he is not trying to edit parts out to force the movie to fit a specific plot he never intended to portray in the first place.

Amazing list. I completely agree with you on the number one choice. Her acting in Leon is just one of those timeless and memorable roles.

I love Natalie Portman (she's adorable in Thor even though there's not much to her character). But her best performance follows her Oscar: Black Swan. That being said, her debut in Leon was astounding given her age.

The real question: will the oscar curse stay intact? So far, she's 1 for 3 this year - No Strings Attached and Your Highness were both bombs, but Thor has been well recieved. It's hard for me to see her going all Halle Berry though.

Of those movies i have only seen The Professional which was pretty good and Vendetta but only like half of the movie.

The Professional by all means. She's great but that's the one that will always ocme to mind.
