Splash: Andrew Garfield pictured wearing his costume on the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man” movie to film a few scenes in Harlem.
I like how the suit looks darker, a more gritty look is nice.
Am I wrong? Is the suit a lot different than before? Is there more blue than red on this one?
Yeah, there is more blue, the red lines on the sides have gone thinner.
The suit looks a bit comic-y, cartoon-y.. it doesn't have that real feeling to it, looks like a knock-off.
I feel the opposite. It looks way better than the suit they used for the previous movies.
You are not alone on that one my friend...not one bit.
I thought so...I don't really like it. It's just not right some how. Maybe I'll be able to not focus on it so much when I'm watching the movie but it's was very noticable when I first saw it.
Well in stills anything can look silly. Wait until the movie I'm sure they'll make it look great on screen.
I hope so..I guess when he's wearing it he's always flying around anyway but right now it's very distracting.
I'm still really liking the new suit.
Why does it look like he soiled himself in the pic where he's standing next to the taxi?
I thought that. Not sure if I'm gonna get my hopes up on this. Isn't it only been made so Sony don't lose the rights to it and marvel get it back. But then again it can't be worse than spider-man 3.
Why couldn't he bulk up just a little bit?
He does look a little under developed...I don't know...maybe we'er just looking for things. We need to give it some time.
I hope these are still all lacking the Hollywood effect to them. It still looks like he is wearing a sparkly leather costume that he painted at home for comic con...i mean the thing doesnt even fit him right in some shots. Crossing my fingers that it isnt as ugly when the final product releases...
These are PRODUCTION PHOTOS. They were probably taken from some dude with a camera phone. His suit will look totally different on film.
I don't know why you got a disagree for telling the truth.
And then you somehow got 3 for supporting him lol... This is what ive been saying the entire time. I hope the effects they add in post production are amazing and do something to make this suit not look like crap. Have you ever seen a Spiderman suit like the movies in person? No because there are alot of post production visuals that get added in.
mmmmmm R rated Spiderman flick, with Carnage...*keeps dreaming*
Won't happen sadly. Would have been awesome if Nolan made the next batman R rated and see it outsell the spiderman movie. Look at the Wolverine movie.. I'm pretty sure the comic of how Wolverine got his powers/metal stuff or whatever was really really bloody yet the film despite being good, had really crappy action scenes.
I am not liking the look of this at all.
Always hate when a movie makes an Actor change like this,
Spiderman went downhill since the 2nd one, altho some though is was great. fact is the third one killed the series, this is now a joke
