I think it's great that films like this are starting to become hybridized with video game demos or entire games on the same Blu Ray as a film!

Like my article I wrote a little while ago about the film industry embracing video games lol

Just another way to get sales. Attaching video games to movies is a dumb idea.

Attaching video games to movies is a great idea if you're the company selling them, since its just another way to get sales. Not too dumb for a business.

'Dumb' as in pointless to me. Why not attach that demo to a video game instead? I bet over half the people that buy it don't even own a PS3.

I never said it wasn't a smart business move and I'm sure it'll push a few copies but it would have made a lot more sense to slap the demo onto another game instead of a movie.

I think I have to disagree with you there. I really don't see why it'd be an issue. It makes sense to me, especially when they are dealing with similar subject matter. Movies and Videogames have both come a long way and the mediums constantly interact with one another and I think that's a good thing.

Besides, if there's room on the disc, why not throw in something extra to snag a few more people? Makes sense from a business stand point.

Hell, remember when the God of War 3 demo came with District 9? I thought that was great!

The only thing I ask for now....Please friggin release a movie with a good game that are both something I like...lol

Battle LA is horrible and District 9 is one of the most over rated movie I have ever seen.

I remember Doom came with Doom 3...now that was friggin awesome.

Who cares! You're a Kid Cudi fan. Your aces in my book MD lol

-MD-4733d ago (Edited 4733d ago )

Haha thanks =)

Cudi!

Your right about the sales part but still the consumer gets the hit on the higher prices. Then we also have all those things to choose from when a movies comes out now.

Nes_Daze4734d ago

That's interesting, it would've done R3 more justice though if Battle for LA would've been a better movie..

Soldierone4734d ago

Resistance is one of my favorite games of all time, probably second or third on my entire list. It is absolutely fantastic and I Cant wait to get my hands on it.

However this movie sucked so bad that even that wont be making me buy it.....
