I support a little strangeness, both in movies and in real life. Normality is so awfully dull, after all. But sometimes a movie drives full-speed into the realm of certified insanity, popping some LSD on the way for good measure and never, ever looking back. This list is about those movies. I didn’t pay attention to their quality, just their degree of bat-shit insanity. Read at your own risk ladies and gentlemen.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
These do qualify for weird! Only one here I've seen is Donnie Darko but I don't think that's even close to some of the others mentioned.
Agree, Donnie Darko was nice and weird but the rest of them look awfully weird
I've seen 4 of those. Eraserhead, Donnie Darko, Paprika, and Un Chien Andalou.
Interesting idea for a list. I have not seen all the films you listed, so I can't really evaluate the "weirdness" factor. But I'll take your word for it. And Enter The Void, while extremely psychedelic and peculiar, is a friggen remarkable visual achievement.
I would have thrown some Takashi Miike stuff on there. Particularly Visitor Q or Gozu.
