LRA: Top 5 Films Featuring Vin Diesel

LRA writes: Yeah, there was a time when Vin Diesel was poised to be a huge action star. With the one two punch of The Fast & the Furious and Pitch Black he had made a huge impression on a generation that was starved for a competent action hero. Also, why the hell did they not get David Twohy for the Dune remake? Riddick had a pretty lackluster plot but it was brimming with style.

It's a stock Diesel list. My only suggestion would be to consider Find Me Guilty. It is arguably his most interesting performance. Of course, it doesn't feature his enormous pythons for arms. It's not an action film, but it deserves consideration in any best of Vin countdown. Plus, the late Sidney Lumet directed it...highly underrated movie IMO.

Almost forgot about that movie - back when it looked like Diesel's career might be going somewhere. It's easily better than all of the movies on that list combined, aside from the Iron Giant.
