The Voice Of TV: After the Sturm und Drang of the last four or five episodes, we’re back to more of a day-in-the-life style of story. I’m a big fan of drama – the sturmier and drangier the better – but this piece written by Alison McDonald kept the story moving forward while allowing the idiosyncrasies of the relationships among the ensemble characters to take the spotlight for a bit. I won’t say that Jackie (Edie Falco) is the glue that holds the separate story lines together, but she’s a seamless part of each. Nice work, Ms. McDonald.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
