Deadline writes:
Catherine Zeta-Jones has been set to play a new role that has been created especially for the movie version of the Adam Shankman-directed Rock of Ages for New Line. She'll play the wife of the mayor of Los Angeles, a conservative character out to do away with rock and roll. "There are so many plotlines in the piece, we thought it would be fun to create a villain, and a cultural discussion point," Shankman told Deadline.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Interested in this film/musical...so far Tom Cruise and Mary J. Blige, now Catherine on board.
I love Catherine. I'm all in just because of her addition.
Catherine is beautiful and talented. I back it.
Catherine Zeta-Jones just annoys the hell out of me. I can't help it. She just really gets under my skin.
Not much for musicals either so I'll definitely be passing on this one.
She never gets old, too gorgeous!
