In somewhat expected news, Nestor Carbonell is looking to reprise his role as Mayor Garcia in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. Reports are that Carbonell is in negotiations to join the cast, though no deal has officially been signed yet. The completion of this deal would put Carbonell on a long list of returning actors for Nolan’s final installment of Batman movies. What’s holding the deal up, I have no clue. However, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we get the official confirmation of the dotted line having been signed.
