It was announced today that screen legend Malcolm McDowell, along with Dean Cain, will be joining the cast of the indie film Mind’s Eye. The film is being produced and shot entirely in Colorado this May through June. Mind’s Eye is the first film under the new Colorado production company Black Wing Digital.
Before Henry Cavill in Man of Steel and before Tom Welling in Smallville, back in the '90s, Dean Cain was Superman. Now he wants to return to the iconic role.
AVClub: The appeal of punk music isn’t in its technical musicianship; many punk songs consist of the same two or three chords repeated over and over. Nor, on that note, is it originality that draws people in. What fans like about punk rock is that it’s fast, it’s loud, and being in a room full of people shoving each other to fast, loud music provides an intense, visceral thrill. The shagginess of the instrumentation is part of the ethos, asserting that anyone can pick up a guitar and start their own band. Indie horror cinema shares a similar DIY ethic, and from its opening title card proclaiming “This film should be played loud,” the telekinetic body-horror film The Mind’s Eye is punk as fuck.

It's been nearly 20 years since the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman signed off for good in 1997, bringing an end to Dean Cain's well-received portrayal of the beloved Man of Steel on the small screen. In the years that have passed, the 49-year-old hasn't shied away from his association with Superman or the legacy of playing the iconic DC Comics superhero.
Dean Cain fell asleep during Batman v Superman? Funny, because I fell asleep during Lois and Clark.
Louis And Clark worked so well on TV. Loved it. It also feels very mature compared to today's comic book shows, which have people in their 20's or who look like they're in their 20's.
Nice, I love McDowell!
