Baby Doll (Emily Browning – The Uninvited) has just been locked up in a mental asylum by her lecherous stepfather (Gerard Plunkett – 2012) after a tragic event resulted in her sister’s death. Faced with the prospect of getting a lobotomy at the hands of a corrupt medical official named Blue Jones (Oscar Isaac – Robin Hood), she falls into a subconscious world where fantasy and reality blur into one. She and four other female inmates named Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish – Limitless), Rocket (Jenna Malone – The Ruins), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens – High School Musical) and Amber (Jamie Chung - Sorority Row) plot their escape under the tutorship of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn - Nights in Rodanthe). With time running out, Baby Doll and her companions must retrieve 5 objects that will lead to their freedom but can they complete their quest before Blue Jones learns of their intentions.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
