If Zack is so adament on a pg-13 rating then he needs to be prepared for the editing room floor. I like Emily's quote about her wanting it to be rater R, but likes that more young women will be able to see the movie with a PG-13 rating. I have a daughter in her teens and like her to see movies with strong female rolls. This one is a must see for us.

It seems really silly to me to not have a 15's rating in america. 15/16 year old's miss out on R rated movies which are perfectly appropriate for them (I realise they see a lot of these movies anyway but not in the cinema usually) and too many movies get censored to fit PG-13. Face it, the UK/Irish rating system is better, why can't you guys just copy it? Does anyone know if change has ever been seriously considered?

I don't particularly care about her wanting the footage included, this isn't a film that I intend to watch, sure, it's got hot girls in it and loads of action, but I watch films for story and immersion. A making out scene couldn't have saved this and to be honest Zacks filmography is very much resemblant of a roller-coaster, it has its ups and downs. I'm hoping for a dark story driven spectacle of a film out of Superman: Man of Steel, much like his fantastic adaptation of Watchmen. But as for this and that crappy Guardian owl film, I'll pass.

i really don't understand why many movies contain sex scenes!
It just makes all these young girls want to lose their virginity from young age. And the problem is many girls always get inspired by what others do because then they would be provoke to do the same thing, because they want to experience what those girls are doing.

Sex scenes should only be included if it's there for the flow of the movie. A good example is Thirst (korean), with the strong relationship with the guy and girl, you would know why the sex scene was important.

Many movies just contain sex scene that we do not need to see. If I want to see sex scene I'll watch porn! Why can't the perverse director show the two kiss and change the scene, or turn the light off while the lay kissing and change scene. Those 2 options obviously indicate the guy would pull, but why the hell must they show the scene?

The scene she was complaining about being cut was to show that a women can enjoy sex just as much as the guy, but of course the rating board for movies was like "no, you may not like sex in this movie, but you may make it look like its something other than sex." And soldier can speak about whats in the moving going towards as long as its not actually saying "the moral of this story is _______ because _____". this movie had a meaning but it was lost in the editing room when zach had to cut it up.
