Again, as in last week's episode, Lights Out strikes the perfect balance between action and story advancement. In fact, this episode was so jam-packed that it seemed that every little detail was important: nothing was frivolous, nothing done to merely fill time. This week's "Cut Men" is an educational episode in many ways: we learn a lot about the characters outside of the Leary family. We learn a lot about Death Row Reynolds. We learn even more about Barry Word. Hal Brennan's back too, doing his best to impersonate Skeletor and yet, he somehow manages to play the hero...sort of.
