Very sad to hear. I remember as a kid him being such an important part of those Batman movies (the only actor to be the same in all 4 movies). I couldn't imagine anyone else as Alfred even though Michael Caine has done a fantastic job. Now that I'm older and have seen his other works, it's easy to see how good of an actor he truly was. Sad to see him pass, but glad for all he did.

If you haven't seen his horror works, you should. It is amazing. Especially Phantom of the Opera. And his role in Richard III is phenomenal.

@ Arcee,

Yes! Phantom of the Opera was very amazing and he did a wonderful job in that film. Didn't see him in Richard III, but I've got all weekend to get caught up!
