TGE:
I love the holidays: any excuse to relax with a tumbler of whisky without the fear of scolding or the nagging sense of guilt that I should be doing something productive, not drinking on a weeknight, etc., is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. But going out on holidays can be such a drag: ridiculously high covers and obnoxious crowds everywhere on New Year's Eve, all of the best restaurants booked full months in advance for Valentine's Day...Better to stay at home, as I will be doing this St. Patrick's Day. So if you're like me and want to get your Irish on this year without having to shoulder your way through mobs of drunken frat boys or sidestepping puddles of nuclear-green vomit, do yourself a favor: settle down with your TV tray piled high with corned beef and cabbage, your tureen of colcannon, and a tall glass of Guinness (or a beer with green food coloring, if you must), and check out one of these thoroughly Irish flicks.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Nice list here. Of course for me, it'll always be Boondock Saints....can't get enough of that movie. It was just fantastic!
I haven't seen any of the films on the list. Yeah not even Boondock Saints (only bits n pieces).
I'll see it eventually.
