This movie is relevant to my interests.

It really has the ET feel to it, this actually looks quite interesting

Interesting idea for the poster. Not completely sold on the sideways point of view, but I still have a bunch of faith in Abrams. Personally I think the first poster is the best.

Its a creative idea, we don't really see something like this pulled very often. It also gives you an idea of how the film is going to be. Im not sure Im exactly fond of the sideways idea, but im also not complaining.

Oh I agree, I'm not bitching about the view of the poster, I'm just not entirely sold on it either. I just can't wait for this film, but if I'm going to hang something on my wall, I think the first simple poster (with the camera lens pointed at you) would be the way to go.

Yeah I have a Spiderman 3 poster that did the same thing. It can be sideways or straight up and still look fine. Either he is climbing a wall or is laying sideways. Unless you look at the finer details in the background, but the text goes the opposite way.

Honestly it's something a moot point for me these days. I haven't hung a poster on my walls in the past 7 years. I still get them every now and again, but I never hang them up. They always get torn, which just upsets me, and I'm too cheap to buy the big picture frames for it. One day I'll have a home theater in which to hang them all...
