SXSW started out with a bang last night, opening with Duncan Jones sophomore film ‘Source Code’. Two years ago his film ‘Moon’ opened at SXSW to critical acclaim and if you’ve ever seen it then you already know why. There are definite comparisons to be made to Minority Report and Deja Vu but that doesn’t make the movie any less interesting in it’s own right.

Entertainment Focus - Review: Source Code

Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal – Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time) finds himself on an unusual mission when he is tasked with identifying the terrorist responsible for bombing a passenger train. Using new technology known as the Source Code, Colter can be transported into the body of one of the train’s passengers 8 minutes before the train explodes. With time ticking, Colter must eliminate the potential suspects and find the bomber before another attack can take place.
