Through a new press release, DreamWorks animation has announced their full line-up of animated features through the year 2014. Included is a slew of release dates and official synopsis for some of their anticipated titles (How to Train Your Dragon 2, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and Madagascar 3).
There are several non-sequels there though. Mr Peabody could be interesting for nostalgia purposes. The Croods and Me and My Shadow (both original works) sound interesting. Rise of the Guardians could maybe be ok as well. Turbo sounds stupid though.
... although I'm a bit skeptical about the whole 3D gimmick.
The first movie had very good choreography in the fightscenes, and I sure as hell hope they won't ruin it now with all 'towards the camera' stuff.
Never cared much for Madagascar (although the Penguins spin-off stuff is cool), so I doubt I'll see pt. 3.
Haven't seen How to Train your Dragon yet,but heard many positive things about it.
How to Train your Dragon is one of the best movies ive seen in a long while, story wise. If you are going to pick just one movie to watch i highly suggest it. Even if your not into "kid" style stuff, its still a really fun movie to watch.
... yeah, it's on my 'to watch' list :)
I'm into pretty much all kinds of cinema. 1 day I can enjoy 'I saw the Devil', and the next I'll be watching a cartoon or something.
I'm really looking forward to How to Train Your Dragon 2 though. Really enjoyed the first.
