Warner Premiere Close to Announcing Fourth 'Lost Boys'

Bloody Disgusting says:

We're being told that Warner Premiere is coming incredibly close to officially announcing a fourth Lost Boys film that would once again bring Corey Feldman back as the infamous Edgar Frog.

We've also confirmed that a TV series is also in the works, although there's no timeline for a potential pilot presentation.

In 2008 Warner Premiere delivered Lost Boys: The Tribe, the direct-to-disc sequel to the classic 1987 vampire film that was met with harsh criticism. The 2010 Lost Boys: The Thirst was actually pretty entertaining and put the Frog brothers at the forefront of the action.

I'm not going to eat any crap for loving this series from anyone. Haim should have been added to the "In Memoriam" feature from the Oscars last night and was totally snubbed. I admit that I was more than a little pissed at that.

back on track here though, Ok, I'll give you this - The Tribe was far from good but it was Ok. The Thirst was actually really enjoyable so in my opinion if they keep on this track, the series has a chance at becoming what it should be though it'll never get there without Corey Haim.

I would love a TV series in this universe though.

A TV series won't be soo bad if they keep the atmosphere that makes it great to me.

Dark yet campy with a lil Rock n' Roll FTW!!!

Sunny_D4805d ago

That's exactly what I want, but I hope they don't go to modern with the crap we have today.

Well they have to be modern - so long as Vamps don't sparkle.

The Thirst was really good so as long as they keep that pace up, we're laughing.
