Mila Kunis Melts for Role of Wicked Witch of the West in Sam Raimi's 'Oz, the Great and Powerful'

The Hughes brothers' loss appears to be Sam Raimi’s gain: Vulture hears that Mila Kunis is walking away from Warner Bros.' live-action remake of Katsuhiro Ôtomo’s 1988 manga epic Akira and instead intends to star opposite James Franco in Raimi's Oz, The Great and Powerful, the prequel to the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz.

Yessss. James Franco and Mila Kunis would be awesome for these kinds of rolls.

meh, Im not feeling Kunis for the role seems to young and not fit the part.

Makeup can (and will) easily fix that problem. I think she'd be fantastic as a witch.

Her youth won't factor in. This is an origins story. Meaning this takes place when the witches were young. So Kunis is fine there. I think she could play the role fine too. Sort of that evil vindictive bitchy type of girl. Surely she can definitely nail that.

Hey, that was same role she played in That 70's show! Maybe, she does fit the part, lol.

I agree with both comments lol. What girl cant play the bitchy girl? Its like given for them :D
