French Press Say Marion Cotillard Is In 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Obsessed With Film:
French newspaper/magazine Le Figaro (via BOF) claim that Marion Cotillard has been cast in The Dark Knight Rises, the third Inception alumni to win a major role in Christopher Nolan’s next film. She is said to have nabbed the second female lead, presumably that of Talia Ah Ghul, opposite Anne Hathaway’s Selina Kyle.

People love to praise this chick's looks but I don't see it.

JL4812d ago

I don't think she's great looking or anything. I will say though that she's one of those types that her looks changes drastically (just google images on her) and sometimes she looks better than others.

... and she's a fine actress.

I would have preferred her as Catwoman over Anne Hathaway, but I guess that ship has already sailed. Perhaps she'll be playing Gordon's pregnant wife!?

JL4812d ago

Oh I'm not saying she looks bad, she's not the hottest though. And sometimes she looks better than others.

If the Talia rumors prove true, I think she'd make a much better Talia than she would a Catwoman.

Yeah I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with her either. She's obviously attractive but when people bring her name up they act like she's the absolute best looking human being in the world.

That's all I'm saying.

She was great in Inception, so as long as she's playing Talia Al Gul, I'm good.

JL4812d ago

Yea I think she would make a good Talia if they went that route.

MrMyers4812d ago

I have only seen her in Inception which she did fine in but it's not enough to know how good she really is. I guess Nolan knows best though and I will wait and see -- if this is true that is.

Hmmm, I see that this movie might have more female actress than the first 2 movies. Which isn't a bad thing at all. :)
