I don't know about this. I mean it's a nice tale, but it's been done like a million and one times. I'm not really sure what Anderson could bring new to another adaptation of the tale.

Plus I don't know, this doesn't seem sci-fi/video game-y enough for Anderson. It would almost make me think he'd kinda have to butcher this in order to fit his normal style.

I'll have to see footage of it, but like I said, just don't know what he can do that hasn't already been done before. I mean it's not like this is something like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or King Kong or something like that that could be served well by a remake due to advances in technology really.

I'm really on the fence as to wether or not I actually care about this movie either. I like the time period and I like the story but you're right, there's no real new spin or anything all that intriguing that can be done that hasn't already without compromising the integrity of the source material.

I am looking forward to this... why cause next to the tail of Robin Hood Story this is one is next...

JL I know you think it has been done a million times... but I sure hope they keep making movies like Robin Hood and The three Musketeers....
