Jef writes: I just got back from an advanced screening of “The Green Hornet” starring Seth Rogan and Jay Chou. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the film. I was expecting it to be one of the worst superhero films to ever disgrace the silver screen, but it was surprisingly good. Not great though, but good.
Seth Rogan plays Britt Reid as well as the titular role, while Jay Chou plays his ass-kicking “side -kick” Kato. After the death of his father, Britt decides he wants more action from his life, so he decides to cause some mischief. During their night out the duo run into trouble and Britt learns that his coffee barista is martial arts master. After reflecting on their evening, they decide to team up and form a superhero team.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Like I said before, The original is just better. But, I still think they are funny. And the theme song is kick ass.
