As you may know, Kevin Smith’s next planned movie is the hockey movie Hit Somebody. This comes as no surprise being as how Smith is such a hockey fan and has even had it featured in many of his past films to some degree. Late last year, Kevin Smith announced via his podcast that Nicholas Braun had signed on to play the lead role in the film. Now it seems Smith is reaching out even further to his Red State cast as he’s signed on another to star in Hit Somebody.
It’s the start of horror movie season, and “Smile” is a good way to start your annual fix.

We’re not sure when Kevin Smith’s imminent retirement transformed into the most ambitious slate of indie films since the days of Golan-Globus, but here we are. This morning America’s favorite wake ‘n bake director–currently in post-production on the Johnny Depp-led Yoga Hosers–took to his Facebook for an announcement of epic snoogans proportions…
That would be so awesome, that film was hilarious.
Imagine them both now still hanging out in a mall with all the new trends kids/teens go through to do. They would be walking relics of the old trend.
The happy ending they had won't last knowing the characters, it would of came crashing down soon after
Honestly he could of really cycled between this and Clerks.
It'd be pretty entertaining, though most of the cast is clearly aged A LOT so I wonder how he'd tackle that?
Plus he would for sure need another Stan Lee cameo!
Hell yeah!! Love the first! Would welcome a sequel with open arms. The nipple thing still kills me every time I see it. Jason Lee's reaction is priceless!

So, will "Beautiful Creatures" be the next "The Hunger Games"-sized Young Adult hit? That's what Warner Bros. is hoping for as they are putting the final casting pieces in place for the big screen adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl's novel.
I think this has been slightly changed now. Kevin Smith tweeted that he would be playing a Gretzky-like character, not Gretzky himself.
The Kid in the picture looks like a punk lol. Hopefully this brings hockey back to popularity here, since the lockout pretty much killed everything.
Gretzky lost a lot when he couldn't coach the Coyotes worth crap lol. Our new coach is way better. Either way he is still a fantastic player.
