EA have announced today that a new Dead Space animated movie, Dead Space: Aftermath will be available on January 25 to coincide with the release of the anticipated sequel Dead Space 2.
Like none of us saw this one coming. After it was fairly successful the first time around with the first game, it was almost a given that this would be happening for the second game as well. Just as long as we don't get a Dantes Inferno 2...we'll be all right.
I never checked out the original movie because for some reason I just couldn't get into the game. Even after 5 different attempts, the game does nothing for and I can't put my finger on why. Does the original movie tie directly to the game making the viewer need to play the game? If it's treated mostly as a separate story that requires nothing from the game I'll check out the movies.
I'm actually with you on that one. I never got into the game. There wasn't anything wrong with it, it just seemed to be another shooter/horror game. Perfectly fine game, but nothing I felt was spectacular or anything.
