I never checked out the original movie because for some reason I just couldn't get into the game. Even after 5 different attempts, the game does nothing for and I can't put my finger on why. Does the original movie tie directly to the game making the viewer need to play the game? If it's treated mostly as a separate story that requires nothing from the game I'll check out the movies.
