Harry Potter Vanquishes Competition at the Box Office This Weekend

Well the box office numbers are in for the weekend of November 19-21 and the results aren’t surprising. The highly anticipated first part of the Harry Potter finale absolutely crushed all competition, lapped them and then left the competition sucking Potter’s exhaust as he pranced around in victory lane. Bringing in a whopping $125.1 Million, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 became the 6th highest opening weekend for a movie.

6th best opening ever. I wonder how much the final one will earn.
The makers have managed to turn a good book series into good movies.
That is an accomplishment.
