British independent movie studio Pure Film Productions is set to make an “urban horror” movie titled Lethal. Throughout the week, they plan to announce casting news for the film. The first bit of news came today, though, as Pure Film has announced Kathryn Prescott will be joining the project and cast members Jay Brown, Red Madrell and Fredi ‘Kruga’ Nwaka.

Dimension Films has started production on the horror thriller Polaroid, directed by and based on the award-winning short by Lars Klevberg.

The other day we brought you news of indie horror film Lethal brought to you by Pure Film. The last time we reported, Skins star Kathryn Prescott had joined the cast. Now, we have more cast info to reveal. The latest to join the cast are Michael Obiora and Don Klass.
I think indie horror films are mostly better than big studio horror films. They are more original and try new things.
Isn't it risky for an indie film to be intended as a trilogy?
It fans are less aware of indie films so makes success that much harder for even 1 film let alone 3.
