I really hoped they wouldn't do this. :-(

I think 1 and 2 sucked but then again many people seem to enjoy lame movies these days. *sigh*

-Mezzo-4903d ago

Disagreed, the first movie was great, the second was fairly good but non of the sucked.

You obviously lack empathy and imagination. Go watch pearl harbour.

Damn, from where are these grumpy people coming from, let talk about the Movies guys, and stop with the stupid peRsonal attacks, if you can,t please kindly leave.

This place has a friendly atmosphere so lets keep it that way.

I think it could end up better than the first 2.

How do you say "do audiences really want this?" when just a couple sentences before you talk about how much money it made....that means it has an audience. Not to mention the fact that most critics loved the sequel and it's received almost all positive reviews.

There's obviously a desire out there for it. Is it a cash grab? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean there isn't a large group of people who want this.

Soldierone4904d ago

Exactly and Ill be there watching it. Didnt like the first one, but loved the second one, and cant wait to see where the story goes.

JL4904d ago

Unless they end up showing something that just proves it's going to be stupid, I'll absolutely see it as I've loved the previous two.

However, I do have my reservations as this does seem like a "cash-in" and we all know those can turn out pretty bad most of the time.

I have faith in these people though. However, until I see something, due to the cash-grab feeling of this, I will be a bit hesitant to get too excited.

darklordzor4903d ago

Yeah, right now the series is at a high point, so they'd have to do something stupid.

I feel this is just a cash-in, since the release date is so close, but then again, they only had a year for the second one, and look how good that turned out.

Sometimes even cash-in movies can turn out surprisingly well.

JL4903d ago

Yea, cash-ins can definitely still turn out well. I'm hoping they don't lose their way and actually have something worthwhile to put on screen other than the name.

Sunny_D4904d ago

WOW, I almost thought WHAT?! when it said coming in October. I thought it meant this year. But, I realized it's already November. hehe

Soldierone4904d ago

LMAO I thought the same thing as above, then i was like ...wait.

however i called it, they totally setup a third one and i know exactly where they will go with it. unless they get creative and go a differnt route, which I doubt, but still. This should be interesting and ill be checking it out.

darklordzor4903d ago

That's true, you were quick to point out the set up for the sequel. I remember you bringing that up in one of the reviews.

-Mezzo-4904d ago

I am absolutely gonna see it, i liked the second one, though it certainly wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still a good movie.

Until they keep it fresh & entertaining, i am OK with it.
