Let's not say that! Oh, we don't need another Saw like franchise that keeps pumping them out year after year...we need a break from all that crap. Let's hope they stop it well before then.

Please don't say that. Don't jinx it. I would hate to see this wonderful franchise ruined like that.

I agree with all 3points you mentioned.

I disagree with all 3 points.

1.) I thought the little sub-bass noise was a nice lil touch. It was almost reminiscent of that little Jaws riff. Every time I started to hear that rumble, my eyes were darting all over the screen just looking for the slightest thing to happen. This in turn, had me on edge which built tension.

2.) PA1 and PA2 were well above ok. It would be stupid to now bring in a ghost or figure. You got a shadow before, that is the furthest they need to take it. That lack of physical entity adds to the brilliance of the movie. The whole brilliance of it was they actually understood the art of "leaving it to the imagination". That's what made the movies so tense. They'd give you just enough to let your mind run wild. And the mind is a far scarier place than being shown "reality". They (the creators of the movies) understood this. They used this. They did it damn well. And they don't need to change it.

3.) Ninja stuff? Ummm I guess. I won't say anything so as not to spoil it. But it needed to be done "stealthy" like to that add to the tension and suspense. Lest it turn into some cheesy teen horror flick with girls running around screaming like...girls.

They need to keep doing what they've been doing, without giving into demands like this that take away the brilliance of the franchise (it's suspension/mystery/tension/fea r of the unknown), while still keeping it fresh and not seeming contrived like it's just thrown together to cash-in on the name.
