David Chase announced today that he will be taking his talent from the television to the big screen as he’s set to make his feature film debut. David Chase previously gained acclaim for creating the hit HBO series The Sopranos. He will be partnering again with Paramount to bring his first film to the big screen. The untitled project is being described as a “music-driven coming of age story set in 1960′s suburbia”.

Honestly, this sounds incredibly boring. Not to be rude or flippant, but nothing about the new project's description sounds good to me. To tell the truth, I didn't think Sopranos was that great either. I liked it, just didn't think it was the greatest thing ever like most did.
Who knows this could really surprise me, but I'm not exactly holding my breath for it either.
