Trailer Debut for Death Race 2

Universal has unleashed the trailer for Death Race 2, due out on DVD and Blu-Ray by year's end. Luke Goss, Tanit Phoenix, Sean Bean, Ving Rhames, Danny Trejo, Frederick Koehler and Lauren Cohan star in this prequel which focuses on how the race became a sensation.

I really don't get how it's called Death Race 2...when it's a prequel. Wouldn't that call for some sort of clever subtitle instead of a generic number that makes it seem like a sequel.

Wow, if they only put in as much thought into the script as they did the title, then this movie will be in the bargain bin in a few weeks. I enjoyed the first one because it was mindlessly fun, but this doesn't even look like it will have that.

I say rent the first one, just to see it. The action is pretty fun and it's good to watch on a big things exploding level, but nothing really deep. It's at least worth one viewing, but that's about it.

The first one was cool for an action movie. There is no way they could turn this into a franchise though, I mean Hollywood must really be running low on ideas.

It looked alright, just isn't alot to work with at all and would need a ton of work to be decent.
