Continuing a long trend, Sony Screen Gems will once again release an Underworld film in January. Once again starring Kate Beckinsale (in what we're told will be a smaller role), Underworld 4 will now arrive in theaters on January 20, 2012. Len Wiseman is said to be returning to the director's chair for his first 3D feature that will continue the battle between vampires and werewolves. We reported back in February that Seline (Beckinsale) will "pass the torch" to one of her kindred (yes, she has not one, but two daughters at this point).
