AzCentral: Steve Carell is the best comic actor working today.
Bold words, perhaps. But he single-handedly made "Despicable Me" worth watching. Now he elevates "Dinner for Schmucks" far above what it would have been without him, making the tricky character central to the film more fully dimensional than it has a right to be. It's outstanding work. It's also a really funny movie.
