Enough speculation already. Andrew Garfield has been officially cast as the new Spider-Man in Sony's upcoming 3D reboot, due to hit screens on July 3, 2012.

Hmm I don't know. All I've ever seen him in was Doctor Parnassus. And going off just that I'm not sure I see it really. I wouldn't have minded seeing Jamie Bell do it maybe.

That being said, a reboot of the franchise really? Doesn't it seem a bit too early for that? I mean it's only been 3 years since the last one, that's the kind of time difference for sequels, not for full out reboots.

2nd reboot though is pretty bad.. People have obviously lost interest and now we are gonna see the same storys AGAIN. It will fail.
