With fans and critics divided on the quality of David Ayer's Bright but the film being a success, does this mean that film criticism is dying?
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Nope — Bright is a piece of trash and fans are too easily pleased
Critical reviews don't mean as much for Netflix released movies. You aren't paying anything extra for it. You're only potentially wasting 2 hours of your time. It isn't the same as wasting money going to see a movie that is crap in the theater.
I watched it last night and it's an okay movie. It has its flaws and the racism angle is stupid af but it can entertain you for 2h if you don't have better things to do (or watch). If you watch a lot of stuff, It's one of those movies you won't remember in a month's time unless someone mentions it!

I think the only time people pay attention to movie reviews is for a movie theater showing, since they're not only paying a hefty chunk of money for the whole movie theater experience, but they're usually making an evening out of it. There's no real risk involved with a Netflix movie. If it's a bad movie, you can just stop watching it. No money lost, no real time lost, no big deal.
I think The Last Jedi proves it more
