Loving Rose Tico: Why She’s The Best Star Wars Character In Decades

Hating The Last Jedi's Rose Tico? That’s a big mistake, because she’s everything that Star Wars is meant to be.

She’s literally one of the most irritating characters in the franchise. Plain, boring sjw character with a crappy story and hardly any depth, just complained, moaned and cried the entire film while spouting silly nonsense “not going to win by destroying what we hate, but by saving what we love“. Please just die.

Aither2311d ago

No, Rose is not the best Star Wars character in decades, but could arguably be one of the worst characters in history. Yes, even on par with Jar Jar in terms of how bad she is, but Rose is just more forgettable.

Protagonist2311d ago (Edited 2311d ago )

You are exaggerating. Phasma however turned out to be forgettable. Which is sad because that character really had potential.

PapaBop2311d ago

Phasma is forgettable because she had literally no screen time, I hear the book does a far better job fleshing her out.

The SJW is strong with this one.

Rose helped Finn destroy the Resistance shes hardly the best character & she is Jar Jar 2.0. Im fine if she's never seen again. There is this thing called opinions & everyone's will be different

She was OK but I preferred DJ.

cyclindk2311d ago

Yes! DJ is how you make a character with a jolt of political commentary. Not some boring-azz backdrop character, main-character wannabe with sob stories. Yes they all play a part.. whoopidee doo. Now go back to maintaining the ship systems. Save THAT for the Seventh Heaven Star Wars spin-off.

I liked her. It's OK to have new characters pop up here and there. I thought she did a great job. Oh well.
