I hope she doesn't leave. her work with Mark Hamill looks superb so far. I hope they don't kill her off. :(

thekhurg2336d ago

They aren't. Disney/Lucasfilm has already stated there are 10 years of Star Wars movies in planning, and many include the current characters, specifically naming Rey, Fin, and Poe.

She'll probably die and take Kylo with her, ridding the world/universe from the Dark Side.

emiyaxtousaka2336d ago

she's a mary sue, she can't due.

guywazeldatatt2336d ago

she's not though. There is a hidden depth, you just have to look deeper. John Williams took this into account when scoring her theme. Plus, we may be given a perfectly good answer in TLJ.

this would leave it unbalanced. after 8 films and countless other lore have you not realised "Balance" is true peace in this world there must be dark side and light side. its why even then they thought the Sith was extinct they wasnt.

If anything Luke is most likely closest to balance as if its gone by a lot of the other Lore he will have studied the dark side and realised Jedi and Sith are 2 sides of the same coin they are both the force

I would not be opposed to this. The Galaxy is better without the Skywalkers TBH. Luke is probably in seclusion because of it.

Good. Adam Driver next please.

I used to feel the same way until I watched his TED Talk. You should check it out. I have a very different opinion of him now. It's on YouTube.

guywazeldatatt2336d ago

he's actually one of the best pure actors in SW. ever. I's love to keep him onboard.

bluefox7552336d ago (Edited 2336d ago )

I'm trying really hard to care. She's such a dull Mary Sue. Though tbf, that's more of a fault with the writers, and not her.

Oh well...the actors they got didn't leave any impression on me in Episode 7

Only one that did was Poe and they made him more or a less a secondary character. Poe should have took Finns place and because he would be the Han Solo type of character who can drive anything, Rey could have focused on filling the Skywalker roles...makes her less of a Mary Sue doing everything while bumbling Finn drools out of the side of his mouth

guywazeldatatt2336d ago

personally I didn't like TFA much, but I did like the characters and on some level I could relate to Rey, and I love Daisy Ridley. I wish her the best though, and honestly letting SW take over your life cannot be fun with the fanbase to be honest.
