Looks more and more like Hollywood taking a huge steaming dump on a popular IP, showing it's source material zero respect. The trailer gives it the impression that they've taken bits and pieces from the original movie and second SAC series and then wrapped it up in some weird original plot, I really hope they're just trying to play with our minds in the trailer but it's going to piss off a lot of fans if they actually try and make the Major seem human and the talk of her family in this trailer just makes it sound even worse.
I'm not a fan of Ghost and the Shell but as a guy passing through to look at this it seems like they're already spoiling a lot just in the trailer.
