This week on TVEnthusiast's The Weekly Set podcast, Will and Tyson talk about Agents of SHIELD, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, as well as HBO's impressive new series Westworld and Season 3 Episode 2 of Black Mirror. First things first, however, Tyson gives brief impressions on TBS' People of Earth, IFC's Stan Against Evil, BBC America's Dirk Gently, and SyFy's Channel Zero: Candle Cove. This week's Legends of Tomorrow excited us with its feudal Japan setting, but Supergirl disappointed with its ever growing path to nowhere. Then it is time for Agents of SHIELD which is all about Ghost Rider, or should I say Ghost Riders. We end out the podcast with another amazing episode of Westworld, which continues to mess with fans expectations and theories, and a rather clunky episode of Black Mirror, which, despite its creepy mood, fails to come together in the end.
Due to our recording schedule (Thursday nights) we will be a week behind on Legends of Tomorrow.
The Weekly Set is TVEnthusiast’s weekly podcast. Every week, barring few exceptions, Will and Tyson gather to talk about what they have been watching, TV relevant news, and whatever else strikes their fancy.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
