Tom Cruise is back in ass-kicking renegade mode for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. The follow-up to Christopher McQuarrie‘s lean-mean action machine finds Cruise re-teaming with his The Last Samurai director, Ed Zwick, who stepped in when McQuarrie was busy on that other little Tom Cruise vehicle, Mission Impossible. With Zwick behind the camera, Never Go Back takes a turn toward character drama, adapting from one of series author Lee Child‘s later books in which the titular lone-wolf finds himself bonding with a surrogate family.
Palm Royale Review: This is an entertaining watch, with its humorous and emotional stories and a great cast that keeps you hooked to them.
