If it wasn't already apparent last week, this Supergirl episode served as further proof that the series is better off for its move to The CW. The action is stronger, the revamped DEO is better and Tyler Hoechlin continues to make a terrific Superman. Even so, its clear that Supergirl still has some hurdles to cross, not least of which being its lackluster history in creating villains compelling enough to rival its heroes.
