The Week's News - 09/30/2016

This week's edition of TVEnthusiast's The Week's News is desperately and hopelessly seeking your attention in the face of Netflix dropping Marvel's Luke Cage on their fans. This weeks stories include several new show announcements, such as Toy Wars from Josh Gad (The Book of Mormon) and Josh Schwartz (Chuck), a The Italian Job remake from Rob Weiss (Entourage), a female lead sequel to Magnum PI from John Rogers (The Player), and full season pickups for The Tick and Jean-Claude Van Johnson. Meanwhile, renewals have been handed out to High Maintenance and You're the Worst, while The Strain and Adventure Time approach their ends. Lots of casting details come next, including the Robinson family in a Lost in Space remake, and an official casting for the role of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live. Netflix is planning to make half of their content original programming, Agents of SHIELD will tie into Doctor Strange, and team Arrowverse will be facing off against Todd McFarlane’s Dominators.

This Week's Question: Netflix is planning to make half of their content original programming. Do you tune into Netflix for their original content, or their licensed content?
